Proper maintenance and upkeep of the vacuum kneading machine can extend its service life and ensure stable performance. The following are specific maintenance measures:

Daily maintenance

Cleaning work

After each use of the vacuum kneading machine, it is necessary to promptly clean the surface and internal material residues of the equipment. You can use a damp cloth or specialized cleaning agent to wipe the outer surface of the equipment. For the internal mixing blades and tanks, first use a suitable tool (such as a plastic shovel) to scrape off most of the material, and then rinse with clean water. Be careful to avoid water entering the electrical and vacuum systems.

Regularly clean the filters in the vacuum system to prevent dust and impurities from accumulating and affecting the vacuum level. Based on usage frequency, it is recommended to clean at least once a week.

Check the operation status of the equipment

Before each startup, check whether the various connection parts of the equipment are firm, such as the connection between the mixing blade and the transmission shaft, pipeline interfaces, etc., to prevent loosening during operation.

Observe the operation of the stirring blade to see if there are any abnormal vibrations or noises. Under normal circumstances, the stirring blade operates smoothly and with minimal noise. If abnormal vibration occurs, it may be due to unbalanced installation of the mixing blade or material jamming; If there is abnormal noise, it may be due to wear of transmission components or insufficient lubrication.

Check whether the vacuum gauge, temperature gauge and other instruments are working properly to ensure accurate readings that can truly reflect the vacuum degree and temperature inside the equipment.

Lubrication and maintenance

Regularly lubricate the transmission components of the equipment, such as reducers, couplings, bearings, etc. According to the user manual of the equipment, choose the appropriate lubricant, and generally lubricate it every three months or so.

During the lubrication process, it is important to ensure that the lubricant is evenly applied to the areas that require lubrication, avoiding excessive or insufficient lubricant. Excessive amounts may cause lubricant leakage and contaminate materials; Insufficient lubrication cannot achieve good lubrication effect.

Seal inspection and replacement

The sealing components of the vacuum kneading machine are crucial for maintaining a vacuum environment. Regularly (recommended every six months or so) check the wear of sealing components, mainly including the sealing gaskets of the tank body and the sealing components of the mixing shaft.

If signs of wear, aging, or damage are found on the seals, they should be replaced promptly. When replacing seals, it is necessary to choose high-quality seals that match the equipment model. During the installation process, it is important to ensure that the seals are installed correctly. After installation, a vacuum test should be conducted to check the sealing effect.

Electrical system maintenance

Regularly inspect the electrical system's wires, plugs, switches, and other components to check for any damage, aging, or looseness. If there are any problems, repair or replace them in a timely manner to ensure the safe operation of the electrical system.

Clean the electrical control cabinet to prevent dust accumulation from affecting the heat dissipation and normal operation of electrical components. Compressed air or soft bristled brushes can be used for cleaning, and a comprehensive electrical system inspection should be conducted at least once a year.

Heating/cooling system maintenance

For vacuum kneading machines equipped with heating or cooling systems, regularly check whether the heating elements or cooling pipelines are normal. In the heating system, check whether the heating wire is broken and whether the heating medium (such as thermal oil) needs to be replenished or replaced; In the cooling system, check whether the cooling pipes are blocked and whether the circulating water is circulating normally.

According to the usage of the equipment, it is recommended to regularly maintain the heating/cooling system, such as cleaning the cooling pipes and replacing the heating medium, once a year.

Long term idle maintenance

If the vacuum kneading machine is not used for a long time, the first step is to thoroughly clean the equipment to ensure that there are no material residues inside and outside.

Rust prevention treatment can be applied to the metal parts of the equipment by applying rust proof oil to prevent rusting. Meanwhile, place the equipment in a dry and well ventilated environment to avoid moisture.

For vacuum systems, to prevent rust and corrosion inside the vacuum pump, an appropriate amount of rust proof oil can be injected into the pump, and the impeller of the vacuum pump can be manually rotated several times every certain period of time (such as one month) to evenly distribute the rust proof oil.

Before reusing the equipment, a comprehensive inspection and debugging of the electrical system, vacuum system, mixing system, etc. should be carried out to ensure that the equipment can operate normally.
